Mikko Hartikaisen rahasto ry
The Mikko Hartikainen Fund (Mikko Hartikaisen rahasto ry) was established to support the artistic activities of underprivileged children and young people in Finland. Founded by Mikko Hartikainen in 2016, in collaboration with the Finnish Association of Children's and Youth Art Schools, the fund aims to provide scholarships and grants. This initiative ensures that all children and young people can participate in art education, regardless of their family's financial situation.
The fund supports basic art education institutions by offering free student places, allowing students to engage in visual arts, crafts, architecture, and media arts. The first grants were awarded in 2021, focusing on promoting accessibility and equality in art education.
